An overview of the technical updates made to DesiCity between 18/02/22 – 22/03/22
Updates 22/03/2022
We have made several front and back end changes to DesiCity, improving current features and resolving issues found by our customers and sellers.
- SKU's now mandatory - every product now added to DesiCity must have a unique SKU code in the format of 4letters-4numbers e.g. xxxx-yyyy DESI-0001. We Suggest using a combination of 4 characters from your shop name, and numbers which incrementally increase.
- New Arrivals Category - a new page showing the products added to DesiCity in the last 30 day period from the current date.
- Popular Searches - when a customer clicks on the search bar, they will be presented with some of the most popular recent searches on DesiCity
- Contact Seller Button - logged in customers can now message a seller directly using this button. Sellers now have a 'Customer Enquiries' tab on their dashboard, and will indicate if a new message is received. All communications stay within the DesiCity platform for security purposes. Sellers can communicate directly back to customers.
